Global Interest in 28th Annual EAU Congress

With two months to go before the doors of Milan’s Congress Centre open for the EAU’s annual congress, is proceeding according to schedule. Almost 5,000 participants have registered so far, coming to Milan from more than 90 countries around the world. Two thirds of the s come from European countries.

The largest group, following European urologists, is made up of urologists from Asia (20%). China and Japan account for half of all Asian s. A further tenth of all s comes from the a continent on the other side of the world – Africa – the bulk of which is made up of Egyptian urologists. A significant percentage of the s has yet to be allocated to individuals, so statistics on their location is still forthcoming. In the next few weeks we expect a significant rise in s from North and South America, as these regions are always very well represented at the event.

Also included in the total figure of s so far are the 160 nurses who will be taking part in the 14th International EAUN Meeting.

Late online for the Annual EAU Congress is open until Friday, 1 February. Last-minute online , and the appropriate fee lasts from 2 – 22 February.
