AIFA procedure for sponsors

Dear Congress contributor,

According to the Italian law, all pharmaceutical companies which market their medicinal products at an event organised in Italy, should submit an application to the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA). The joint application handled by our official agent Emilia Viaggi has been submitted in early January. This means that:

• Companies without a SIS code which applied to AIFA in time can update their on-line files with the definitive costs of sponsoring package after the Congress.
• Companies which have a SIS code and have applied to AIFA in time can amend the application concerning provisional budget. Please contact Elena Legnani:
• All companies that did not apply for the AIFA in early January cannot participate in the EAU Congress according to the Italian law, participation is at own responsibility.
