The Annual EAU Exhibition is an exciting and dynamic event and it’s one of the busiest areas of the congress venue. The buzz of the exhibition is an excellent counterpoint to the intensive and narrowly-focused scientific sessions and courses. Here you can visit the booths of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies and companies specialising in medico-technological innovations. The EAU has also prepared many interesting features for the exhibition, and here is our “to do” list for the delegates visiting the floor.
The EAU Booth
Whether you are a member of the EAU or not, we welcome you to visit our booth on the exhibition floor. Here you can meet the staff of the European Association of Urology, who will answer any questions you might have about the activities of our association. You will also be able to pick up informational flyers, newsletters, and other must-have materials about the EAU. Here you can also purchase various EAU publications. If you wish to become an EAU member, you can directly apply at our booth. In the same area, you will be able to find representatives of our partner organisations – EBU and ESRU and EAU Research Foundation, as well as information about the next year’s congress.
If you are already a member of the EAU, you can conveniently pay your dues, inquire about your membership status, and update your information in the database. As a member you will also receive the EAU Extended Guidelines 2013 and the 20th volume of Historia Urolgiae Europaeae series.
Historical Exhibition at the EAU Booth
Visit the Historical Exhibition, a special part of the EAU Booth. Organised by the EAU History Office, this year it features a selection of the collections that urologists have amassed. From urology-related artifacts to more unusual collections, this year's exhibit is not to be missed.
Video Library
The EAU has an extensive library of digital videos dedicated to surgical procedures and techniques. The Video Library offers you an opportunity to browse and view these videos, as well as select those of interest and have them copied onto a DVD for you free of charge. The Video Library is supported by an unrestricted educational grant from ASTELLAS. You can view the library listing here.
Anatomy for Urology
“Anatomy for Urology” is an interactive DVD for urologists which was developed by Primal Pictures LTD and endorsed by the EAU. It offers complex anatomical information in 3D and is an essential tool for practising urologists and urologists-in-training. Visit their booth to check out this amazing software!
European Urology
The official journal of the EAU – European Urology – will set up many interesting initiatives and events this year , including the much-anticipated Platinum Hour. Visit their booth, check out the latest issues, ask your questions to the EU staff and join the in-crowd of the world’s leading journal in urology!
